Macaroni Bake with Mince, Chorizo and Mushrooms

Ingredients

›› 15ml Oil
›› 1 Finely Chopped onion
›› 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
›› 400g Beef Mince
›› 250g Sliced Mushrooms
›› 50g Chorizo (Chopped into small pieces)
›› 410g Tinned chopped Tomatoes
›› 100g Tomato Paste
›› 15 ml Robertsons Paprika
›› 20 ml Robertsons Steak & Chops Spice
›› 10 ml Robertsons Coarse Black Pepper
›› 5 ml Salt
›› 15 ml Brown Sugar
›› 300g Raw Macaroni (Boiled and drained)
›› 250 ml Grated Cheddar

Instructions

›› Fry the onion and garlic into the oil until soft.
›› Add the chorizo, mushrooms and mince and brown the mince as well
›› Add the spices and salt and pepper, then add the chopped tomato paste and sugar
›› Simmer for 5 minutes
›› Boil the pasta and drain
›› Add to the pan with the mince and mix well
›› Pour the pasta mix into an oven proof bowl and sprinkle the greeted on top
›› Bake at 180 degrees Celsius until the cheese is a light golden. 10 – 15 minutes
